Leeland Station Community Association’s 2017 Annual Meeting and first Homeowner controlled Board of Directors election was held on Tuesday, November 14th at Conway Elementary School.
The state of the Association was given by the Declarant, K. Hovnanian outgoing Board of Directors President Eric Burch. The 2018 Annual Budget was presented which indicated the Association is in good financial standing.
The outgoing Board of Directors passed several resolutions in the Dissolve of the Board Advisory Committee and installment of the new Board of Directors.
Our newly elected Directors are Doug Camp, Gail Carlson, Phil Herbert, Dave Pitts, and Steve Stephenson.
Because of the need to establish requisite three-year terms, the Directors will begin by serving either a 1, 2, or 3 year-term based on the number of votes each candidate received. This creates continuity in the Board of Directors so that at no time will the entire Board be replaced.
Mr. Burch will remain as the Immediate Past President in counsel to the new Board.
The first meeting of the new Board of Directors will be held on December 5, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the Committee Room of the Belle Air Clubhouse.
