VRE Virginia Railway Express

The VRE commuter rail system currently runs from Fredericksburg to Washington, DC. Leeland Station is located adjacent to the Leeland Road VRE Station. The station is an easy walk from all points in Leeland Station for an easy train ride to major employment centers in Northern Virginia and Washington D.C.

LEELAND STATION SWIM TEAM Leeland Express

Leeland Express, the official swim team of Leeland Station, started in 2010, has taken the Rappahannock Swim League by storm. Having won division titles in 2011, 2012, 2013 and Final Championships in 2011 and 2012, the team is now in the RSL's top Battlefield Division and completed its 2014 season in 2nd place overall in both the Division and Final Championships.

Activities are held throughout the year. From block parties, to fun runs, haunted trails, to Breakfast with Santa and even a New Year's Eve Ball Drop - it all happens in Leeland Station.

Leeland Station, a planned community, is situated in Falmouth, which borders the historic city of Fredericksburg, north of the Rappahannock River Falls. The neighborhood of 600 single family homes is picturesque and near many amenities in Stafford County.
