VRE Virginia Railway Express

The VRE commuter rail system currently runs from Fredericksburg to Washington, DC. Leeland Station is located adjacent to the Leeland Road VRE Station. The station is an easy walk from all points in Leeland Station for an easy train ride to major employment centers in Northern Virginia and Washington D.C.

LEELAND EXPRESS Leeland Station Swim Team

The official swim team of Leeland Station has taken the Rappahannock Swim League by storm. Formed in 2010, it's won the division titles in 2011-13 and the Finals Champs in 2011 & 2012. The Express is now in the RSL's top division, completing its 2014 season in 2nd place in both the Division and Finals.

Activities are held throughout the year. From block parties, to fun runs, haunted trails, to Breakfast with Santa and even a New Year's Eve Ball Drop - it all happens in Leeland Station.

Leeland Station, a planned community, is situated in Falmouth, which borders the historic city of Fredericksburg, north of the Rappahannock River Falls. The neighborhood of 600 single family homes is picturesque and near many amenities in Stafford County.

Get Involved in the Leeland Community

There are many opportunities to help make Leeland Station a great place to live. You can volunteer to serve on a committee or help as a volunteer for one of the many activities.
